Choosing the Right Adventure Gear AccessoriesUpdated 6 days ago
Accessories — Adventure Gear range
Adventure Gear is VOITED's range of functional outdoor accessories — the bits and pieces that make a day at the beach, a campsite or a road trip run more smoothly. Like the rest of the accessories range, these aren't either/or choices; most people pick the ones that match how they spend their time outdoors. Here's what each does.
What's in the Adventure Gear range?
The range falls into three groups:
- Beach & ground: Beach Towel, Sandfree Beach Sheet and Pocket Dry Mat
- Food & drink: Mizu Insulated Bottle and Mizu Lunch Box
- Eco-care: the GUPPYFRIEND Washing Bag
If you're choosing between the beach and ground pieces, the next question is the one to read.
Which beach and ground option should I choose?
These three all help you stay dry and comfortable outdoors, but they do different jobs:
| Product | What it does | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Beach Towel | Large, quick-dry waffle-fleece towel | Drying off and lounging |
| Sandfree Beach Sheet | Sand-repelling ground sheet with anchor pockets | A clean, sand-free base for the whole group |
| Pocket Dry Mat | Compact 100% waterproof roll-out mat | A dry spot to sit, stand or change on |
Beach Towel
A lightweight, ultra-packable and fast-drying towel made from recycled waffle fleece — the larger, beach-day sibling of the Trail Towel. It dries quickly and rolls down small, so it won't dominate your bag.
Best for: drying off and lounging on sunny escapes. (Want something smaller for travel and hiking? See the Trail Towel in the Travel Smart range.)
Sandfree Beach Sheet
A smooth, recycled-ripstop ground sheet that repels sand and dries quickly. Fill the corner pockets with sand to hold it down on breezy days, or use the reinforced stake loops to pin it when camping. It packs into its own attached carry sack.
Best for: a clean, sand-free base for sunbathing, picnics or lake-side days.
Pocket Dry Mat
An ultra-lightweight mat that rolls out to give you a 100% waterproof spot anywhere. It's built from Ripstop 50D REPREVE® recycled polyester with a 2.5-layer, 14,000 mm waterproof membrane that's also breathable and windproof, and it packs into its own compact transport sack.
Best for: changing after a surf, sitting by the campfire, or claiming a dry patch at a festival or in the park.
The short version:
- to dry off and lounge, the Beach Towel;
- for a sand-free base to sit on, the Sandfree Beach Sheet;
- for a compact, fully waterproof spot to stand or change on, the Pocket Dry Mat.
What about the Mizu bottle, lunch box and GUPPYFRIEND bag?
Mizu x VOITED Insulated Bottle
An 800 ml (26 oz) double-walled bottle from VOITED's collaboration with Mizu, made from food-grade 18/8 stainless steel. It keeps hot drinks warm for up to 12 hours and cold drinks icy for up to 24, with a leak-proof cap and a narrow mouth for spill-free sipping.Best for: all-day hydration on longer days out, hot or cold.
Mizu x VOITED Stainless Steel Lunch Box
A large 2,150 ml (73 oz) stainless-steel lunch box built for adventure. It's durable but lightweight; note that it isn't insulated, shouldn't be frozen or microwaved, and is best hand washed.Best for: packing meals securely for van trips, camp and hikes.
GUPPYFRIEND Washing Bag
A washing bag you place synthetic garments inside before a machine wash. It reduces the microfibres that break off your clothes and captures the ones that do shed, so they can be removed and disposed of properly instead of flowing into waterways — a natural companion to VOITED's recycled-fleece pieces.Best for: anyone who wants to wash their synthetic gear more sustainably.
Good to know: The textile pieces here are made from recycled materials and machine washable at 30°C (use minimal detergent, no tumble drying). The Mizu stainless-steel items are best hand washed — and the lunch box shouldn't go in the microwave or freezer.
