Travel Smart is VOITED's range for packing light and staying organised — bags and tools that keep your essentials secure, compact and easy to find, whether you're flying, road-tripping or living the van life. Unlike a blanket or a jacket, these aren't either/or choices — most people end up with a couple. Here's what each one does, so you can build the set that suits how you travel.
What's in the Travel Smart range?
There are seven products, and they fall into three groups:
- Packing & organising your luggage: Travel Packing Cubes, Compression Sack, Tout Pack and Everyday Sacks
- Carrying your essentials: Essentials Shoulder Bag
- For the journey itself: the Trail Towel (a quick-dry travel towel)

Which packing and organisation option should I choose?
They look similar at a glance, but each solves a slightly different packing problem:

Travel Packing Cubes
Made from 100% recycled polyester, these use a compression-zip system to squeeze extra air out of your clothes and come in three sizes for different garment types. Breathable mesh panels let you see what's inside and keep things fresh, and the dual-compartment design helps separate clean from worn. When empty, they nest into a single compact bag.
Best for: anyone who wants their suitcase or backpack neatly sorted and squashed down.
Compression Sack
A lightweight recycled Ripstop sack that compresses bulky items to roughly a third of their volume without adding much weight. It's sized to pack down VOITED's Ripstop and Fleece blankets, but works just as well on a jacket or spare layer.
Best for: reclaiming space when you're carrying a blanket or bulky clothing.
Tout Pack (set of 3)
A set of three drawstring stuff-sacks made from fabric offcuts from VOITED's blanket and changewear production — so every set is unique, with a colour mix that varies from pack to pack. An easy, low-waste way to keep smaller items grouped inside your bag.
Best for: organising cables, socks, shoes and small odds and ends — made entirely from rescued fabric.
Everyday Sacks
Built from 50D recycled Ripstop polyester with a clever mesh base that lets sand fall straight through — ideal after a beach day — and adds breathability for damp or worn kit. Each sack stuffs into its own pocket and has a drawstring you can sling over a shoulder.
Best for: the beach, the gym, or carrying shoes and day kit.
Essentials Shoulder Bag
An ultra-light, packable crossbody in 50D recycled Ripstop and mesh, with a zipped main pocket, an external mesh pocket and a wide, comfortable strap. It folds down to just 15 × 11 × 3 cm when you don't need it.Best for: keeping your phone, keys and essentials to hand, in the city or on the trail.
What are the Trail Towel?
Trail Towel
A lightweight, ultra-packable and fast-drying towel made from recycled waffle fleece. It rolls down small enough to live in a daypack and dries quickly, making it ideal for travel, hiking and post-swim dry-offs.
Best for: anyone who wants a compact towel that won't stay damp. (If you're after something bigger for lounging, see the Beach Towel and Sandfree Beach Sheet in the Adventure Gear range.)
Good to know: Most Travel Smart pieces are made from recycled materials (50D Ripstop or 100% recycled polyester) and several — like the Tout Pack — use leftover production fabric. The bags and towel are machine washable at 30°C; use minimal detergent and avoid tumble drying.
